The dataset covers 2002–2022 and is drawn from the World Bank and the FAO. The World Bank supplies agricultural value added, labor, fertilizer use, and gross fixed capital, while the FAO provides agricultural credit, land, and pesticide data. To ensure consistency, the analysis focuses on the period 2002–2022. The starting year is set at 2002 because Bangladesh’s agricultural credit data contain gaps prior to that point, while 2022 is the latest year with complete credit and pesticide data. For comparability, agricultural credit figures were converted into current USD by multiplying the reported values by 1,000,000.
