"Our dataset comprises records of flea infestations on their rodent host, the long-clawed ground squirrel (Meriones unguiculatus), collected from a desert steppe environment. The data are structured to include a unique identifier for each host individual, alongside corresponding measurements of host characteristics (e.g., sex, age, body weight). Each record is linked to climatic data (e.g., temperature, humidity, precipitation) and air quality index (AQI) values recorded at the time of sampling. The core of the dataset consists of abundance counts for each identified flea species recovered from each host."
