Data for: "In-depth characterization of sediment contamination in stormwater infiltration basins"
Description
The reported data were acquired as part of a research project investigating the characteristics of sediments accumulated in stormwater infiltration basins. Eighteen study sites were selected to encompass a diversity of urban and peri-urban catchments (residential, industrial, roads, parking lots) and hydraulic designs. In each site, a representative sample was composited from different locations in the sediment layer. Sediment samples were analyzed for: • pedological parameters, • major elements, • 6 trace metals, • 16 polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons, • 7 polychlorinated biphenyls, • 12 dioxin-like polychlorinated biphenyls, • 17 polychlorinated dibenzodioxins and furans, • p-tert-octylphenol and 4-nonylphenol, • 25 pesticides. Further details are provided in the file entitled “Data description”. The results are available in csv files grouped by contaminant type. Contents in sediments are expressed in grams (g), milligrams (mg), micrograms (ug), or nanograms (ng) per kilogram of dry matter. The results are presented and discussed in the following research article: D. Tedoldi, J. Couvidat, M. Gautier, Q. Zhan, T. Winiarski, G. Lipeme Kouyi, C. Delolme, & V.
