The aim of this research was to determine how the tālamāna system described in ancient Indian textual sources was applied in practice in the sculptural traditions of these two South Indian dynasties. The measurements retrieved from LiDAR and AutoCAD datasets of the Badami Chalukyan and Hoysala sculptures (measurements.dataset.csv), along with the details of the tālamāna system from ancient Indian texts (texts.and.proportions.csv), are linked here. The R codes of computed statistical tests on the measurements of the abovementioned datasets to analyse the iconometry are listed below.
