Description

This dataset includes both data obtained using the two-probe method and a novel approach for calculating the Transversal Lyapunov Exponent in discontinuous systems. The data was collected for both a piecewise linear impact oscillator and a Duffing impact oscillator. For system parameters, refer to the preprint: arXiv:2503.19995.

Python scripts are shared with the data. Use python 3.x, numpy 1.2.4. scipy 1.9.1 and matplotlib 3.7.5.
