Description

Laboratory evaluation of the parasitoid Ooencyrtus obscurus (Mercet) (Hymenoptera: Encyrtidae) on Leptoglossus occidentalis Heidemann (Hemiptera: Coreidae), commonly knowns as the western conifer seed bug (WCSB), at laboratory condictions. Three trials were conducted: (1) 1 male and 1 female were paired (n=40) and WCSB egg clusters were exposed to its parasitism until female expired. (2) WCSB egg clusters were exposed to 1 female (n=30) for several days. (3) WCSB egg clusters were exposed to 1 female and 1 male (n=60) for several days.
