Code for: Climate Anxiety in Ukraine - Emotion-Specific Pathways

This repository contains the full analysis code (Quarto/.qmd) and rendered output (.html) for the manuscript "Loud in Action, Muted in Well-Being: Emotion-Specific Pathways of Climate Anxiety in Ukraine." It includes: Pearson correlations with Holm correction; five parallel multiple-mediator structural equation models (private- and social-sphere pro-environmental behavior, positive affect, negative affect, satisfaction with life), each with multicollinearity diagnostics, conditional sensitivity power analysis, and a robustness check using a saturated covariance structure; a bootstrap contrast analysis of standardized paths from climate anxiety to the seven climate emotions; and psychometric evaluation of the pro-environmental behavior scale (confirmatory factor analysis, reliability and convergent/discriminant validity, measurement invariance across age groups, nomological validity, and known-groups validity), reported as Supplementary Material in the manuscript.

Steps to reproduce

The complete, executable analysis pipeline (data preparation, all structural models, sensitivity analyses, and psychometric evaluations) is provided in Analysis_Code_Climate_Anxiety_Ukraine.qmd; the corresponding fully rendered output, including all tables, model summaries, and diagnostics, is provided in Analysis_Code_Climate_Anxiety_Ukraine.html.
