Data_Complexity_Sponges
Description
Values of sponge abundance, fractal dimension, rugosity and slope used for the canonical correspondence analysis, besides values of minimal distances between individual sponges and high slope features, part of the thesis named "Applied Structure from Motion Photogrammetry: Habitat Complexity and Sponge Abundance in Natural Rocky Reefs in Southern Portugal", from Marcos Tieppo.

Steps to reproduce
The values of fractal dimension and rugosity were obtained from underwater photogrammetry models, using Python scripts created by Grace C. Young in her work named "Cost and time effective method for multiscale measures of rugosity, fractal dimension, and vector dispersion from coral reef 3D models.". Slope values were obtained also from the models, using the Benthic Terrain Modeler tool of ArcGIS. The script was used inside the Rhyno 3D software. The sponge abundances were obtained also by counting in the photogrammetry models.
