Wave characteristics across a reef flat under nonbreaking conditions

Description

This database consists of several files containing wave and hydrodynamic measurements at five monitoring stations. The file eta_all.mat stores the raw water surface elevation data, with columns corresponding to stations P1 through P5. The file pos.mat provides the geographic positions of the instruments, while depth.mat records the water depth at each station. Wave parameters are included in wh_ss.mat, which contains short-wave significant wave heights, and T_ss.mat, which contains mean wave periods. In addition, a MATLAB script, mean_Df.m, is provided to calculate the frictional dissipation coefficient (fe).
