Description

Metabolomics data to study anti-obesity effect of Akkermansia muciniphila. Non-targeted global metabolomic profiling in plasma and feces at week 10 was performed at Metabolon, Inc. (Durham, NC, USA) (Bridgewater BR, 2014; Ford et al., 2020; Zierer et al., 2018). All samples were extracted in methanol and divided into 4 aliquots: two for analysis by two separate reverse phase (RP)/UPLC-MS/MS methods with positive ion mode electrospray ionization (ESI), one for analysis by RP/UPLC-MS/MS with negative ion mode ESI, one for analysis by hydrophilic interaction chromatography (HILIC)/UPLC-MS/MS with negative ion mode ESI.
