Description

This dataset contains the numerical analytical data supporting the manuscript “Incipient Aqueous Alteration Recorded by Matrix Metal in the Most Pristine CO Chondrite Dominion Range 08006,” submitted to Geochimica et Cosmochimica Acta. The dataset includes the numerical data presented in Tables 1-4 and Supplementary Tables S1-S5, as well as additional analytical datasets used to generate several figures in the manuscript. Specifically, the dataset contains STEM-EDS compositional data for Fe,Ni metal grains, amorphous Fe-O alteration layers, and C-bearing regions in segmented metal assemblages in the matrix of DOM 08006. It also includes STEM-EDS line profile data used for Figure 6, representative STEM-EDS spectra used for Figure 9, carbon K-edge EELS spectra used for Figure 11, and Fe L2,3-edge EELS spectra used for Figure 12. All files are provided in machine-readable formats to ensure accessibility and reproducibility of the analytical results presented in the manuscript.
