Steps to reproduce

1. Execute the Scopus and Web of Science query strings given in Appendix B of the associated manuscript: two components for the protection strand (P1, P2) and one query for the technology strand. 2. Restrict both databases to English-language records published 2015-2026, with no document-type restriction. Both strands were executed on 5 August 2026. 3. Export each result set as BibTeX, including abstracts and keywords. 4. Deduplicate across the two databases: match first on normalised DOI, then on normalised title. Where a duplicate pair disagrees on publication year, retain the earlier year (Web of Science reports Early Access records under a later year than the eventual print version). 5. Remove records carrying no author field: in these exports these are proceedings volume entries, conference front matter, and errata, not individual works. 6. The two CSVs in this deposit are the result: protection_strand.csv (519 records) and technology_strand.csv (4859 records).
