Francisella aquatica, a novel beta-lactamase-negative member of the family Francisellaceae isolated from coastal seawater

Description

Two strains (19S2-4 and 19S2-10) were isolated from seawater near the shore in Huizhou, Guangdong Province, China. They represent a novel species within the genus Francisella, for which the name Francisella aquatica sp. nov. is proposed.
