Description

This dataset provides supporting evidence for the antidepressant effects of Theasaponin A1. Theasaponin A1 is a saponin compound derived from plants of the Theaceae family, known for its anti-inflammatory and anti-obesity properties, and is safe for oral administration with no toxicity. This study confirms that Theasaponin A1 exhibits antidepressant activity and can be developed as a natural therapeutic agent. The dataset includes data on changes in mouse body weight, behavioral experiments, neuronal counts in the hippocampus, western blot statistical results, and data pointing to the gut microbiota analysis results presented in the study.
