Usability Evaluation and Iterative Testing Dataset for "Swaply": A Circular Economy Barter Application
Description
This dataset contains the usability evaluation and empirical validation data for "Swaply" (conceptually developed under the working title: "UX/UI Design of a Point-Based Secondhand Marketplace"). The mobile application prototype is designed to encourage sustainable consumption and mitigate linear economy waste through a point-based item bartering system, directly supporting UN Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12.The data was collected following the Double Diamond methodology and includes:System Usability Scale (SUS): Quantitative survey data from $N=33$ participants, establishing a highly successful baseline usability score (Score: 85.5, Grade A).Heuristic Evaluation: Expert review data utilized during the iterative testing phase to identify and resolve interaction design friction prior to final user validation.Design Guidelines & Rationale: Supporting documentation outlining the specific UX decisions (e.g., color psychology, grid layout, and custom typography) applied to resolve identified usability issues. This dataset supports research into circular economy digital platforms and user-centered design methodologies aimed at shifting youth consumption habits.
