Description

Bullous pemphigoid (BP) is an autoimmune disorder characterized by tense blisters, urticarial plaques and intense pruritis. Initial treatment typically involves the use of topical and oral steroids; however, non-steroidal agents and biologics can also be used in refractory cases. This systematic review examines the treatment outcomes in BP refractory to conventional therapies, treated with biologics.
