STL files associated with a multicentre audit of the geometric accuracy and water equivalence of 3D printed thermoplastic objects for use in radiotherapy
Description
This dataset contains the stereolithography (STL) files used to generate the 3D-printed objects described in the publication “A multicentre audit of the geometric accuracy and water equivalence of 3D-printed thermoplastic objects for use in radiotherapy”. The files comprise: - Three test blocks (A–C), designed for printing at different infill percentages to achieve varying attenuation properties. - A positioning jig used to align the blocks during computed tomography (CT) imaging. - A phantom designed for attenuation measurements using a PTW Semiflex ionisation chamber. The files are provided in STL format, allowing end users to manufacture the objects using local slicing software and additive manufacturing workflows. Further methodological details, including print settings, imaging methods, and dosimetric evaluation, are described in the associated publication.
