In Vitro Biological Efficacy of Trichoderma isolates against Fusarium Oxysporum f. sp. capsici in Central Gondar zone, Northwestern Ethiopia: comparative Analysis of Antagonistic Mechanisms: Dataset article
Description
This dataset presents an in vitro evaluation of the antagonistic potential of eight Trichoderma isolates (T. asperellum, Tri-9, Tri-11, Tri-18, Tri-20, Tri-26, Tri-27, and Tri-30) against Fusarium oxysporum f. sp. capsici (FOC), the causal agent of Fusarium wilt in hot pepper, under controlled laboratory conditions, in 2022. The experiment was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) with three replications per treatment, where percentage growth inhibition of the pathogen was recorded at seven consecutive time points (3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9 days post-inoculation) using the dual culture technique. The data include raw inhibition percentages for each isolate by replication across all time intervals, enabling comparative analysis of temporal antagonistic efficacy. This dataset is valuable for identifying effective biocontrol candidates, assessing isolate-specific inhibition activities, and supporting the development of sustainable management strategies against Fusarium wilt in hot pepper production systems in northwestern Ethiopia
