Steps to reproduce
This study adopted the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020 guidelines to ensure a systematic and transparent record identification and screening process (Page et al., 2021). The search was conducted in the Scopus database using the query TITLE-ABS-KEY ("instructional leadership"). The initial search retrieved 1,464 records, as presented in Figure 1. The retrieved records were subsequently subjected to a structured screening procedure. Prior to screening, 88 records outside the Social Sciences subject area were removed through automated filtering, resulting in 1,376 records for further assessment. A further 238 non-article documents were excluded to maintain consistency in document type and ensure comparability across publications. This process yielded 1,138 records for eligibility assessment. During the final screening stage, one record was excluded due to corrupted metadata. No duplicate or unretrieved records were identified throughout the process. Consequently, 1,137 records satisfied the inclusion criteria and were retained for bibliometric analysis.
