This dataset contains the data supporting the study entitled “Impact of an ESKAPE-Oriented Microbiological Quality Control Program for Reprocessed Mechanical Ventilators: Five Years of Infection Prevention and Cost Avoidance.” The study evaluates a five-year microbiological quality control and surveillance program for reprocessed mechanical ventilators in a tertiary-care hospital. The dataset includes microbiological findings from ventilator sampling, identification of clinically relevant microorganisms, particularly ESKAPE pathogens, contamination patterns, and data used to estimate the infection-prevention and economic impact of the program. The files provided support the analyses and results reported in the associated manuscript.
