This repository includes organic carbon (OC) datasets from sediments across the East China Continental Margin (ECCM). Dataset S1 presents estimated OC accumulation rates (OC-ARs) and burial fluxes, calculated based on OC content, dry bulk density (DBD), sedimentation rates (SR), and the areal extent of the corresponding ECCM subregions. Dataset S2 provides the proportions of labile and refractory OC fractions in sediments from the Bohai Sea, Yellow Sea, and East China Sea, determined using a chemical oxidation method. Dataset S3 contains the Bayesian Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) script used for mass-balance source apportionment.
