We developed two regional paleoclimate indexes for assessing summer monsoon effect in the source region of the Yangtze River (China). The Indian Monsoon Index (IMI) was created by averaging TOC and TIC records, while the effective moisture index (EMI) was obtained by averaging mean size grade MG (φ) and TIC after normalizing these three proxies. We reconstructed paleoclimate change of Chibuzhang Co on the central Qinghai-Tibet Plateau over the past 13,000 years. These data mainly include two paleoclimate indexes, general multi-proxy records.
