Data and R codes for reproducing the statistical analyses from the article: Diniz P, Silva-Jr EF, Rech GS, Ribeiro PHL, Guaraldo AC, Macedo RH, Amorim PS (2024). Duets convey information about pair and individual identities in a Neotropical bird, Current Zoology, zoae064, https://doi.org/10.1093/cz/zoae064 Data Description: The dataset includes RDS files (to be loaded in R) and one XLSX file. These contain information on acoustic measurements, specifically spectro-temporal and temporal structure characteristics of different components of rufous hornero (Furnarius rufus) duets: complete duets, overlapping duet sections, duet phrases, overlapping syllable parts, and non-overlapping syllable parts. Detailed information on the recording locations and settings is available in the referenced article.
