Description

Raw data for the Figures in the manuscript titled the same as this repository. This paper is based on the hypothesis that when PEG-coated magnetite nanoparticle catalysts, pre-adsorbed to organic pollutants in wastewater, show better heterogeneous electro-Fenton (HEF) activity compared to the unadsorbed catalyst. The data were gathered from catalyst characterisation and total organic carbon % removal at time intervals from 30 to 120 minutes during HEF degradation of amoxicillin-spiked wastewater.

Steps to reproduce

By conducting HEF reactions using variously modified MNP catalysts to treat spiked wastewater for 120 minutes. Measure the initial total organic carbon concentration of the spiked wastewater, followed by 30-minute-interval aliquots. Calculate the % TOC removal at each interval with reference to the initial TOC concentration. Repeat these steps 3 times and calculate the average % TOC removal
