Steps to reproduce
The results presented in this dataset were developed through a qualitative conceptual research approach grounded in general systems theory. The research process involved three main stages: 1. Comparative Institutional Analysis Existing sports management frameworks (including SPLISS and comparative elite sport development models) were analyzed to identify structural gaps in the development of sports leagues, particularly in emerging markets. 2. Systems Modeling and Framework Construction Based on systems theory principles, sports leagues were conceptualized as interdependent structures. Six core pillars (governance, competition, financial framework, stakeholder alignment, media engagement, and international integration) were identified and organized into a unified systemic model. 3. Applied Observational Validation The model was refined through applied observations from real-world sports league development, including the transformation of the Armenian Hockey League. Structural changes and observed outcomes were analyzed to validate the interdependence of system components. To reproduce this research, a researcher should: - conduct comparative analysis of existing sports development frameworks - apply systems theory to model interdependent institutional structures - evaluate real-world league development cases against the proposed framework No experimental data or laboratory procedures were used.
