This dataset provides transparent and traceable China-specific unit process data to enhance the accuracy and reliability of LCA studies on lithium-ion batteries. Complying with the life cycle stages and system boundaries outlined by international standards, the dataset involves 53 data sources, 214 unit processes, and 3,197 flows. This dataset assists in identifying environmental hotspots and supports evidence-based decision-making to mitigate the environmental impacts of China’s battery industry while maximizing its sustainability benefits.
