Effect of rifaximin on gut-lung axis in mice infected with influenza A virus

Description

To study the changes in the structure of intestinal microorganisms and gut-lung axis in influenza infected mice after rifaximin administration. Samples were collected at day 7 post infection. Quantitative PCR was performed to analyze the microbial structure; hematoxylin-eosin staining for pathological analysis was employed to identify the lung and colon structural damage. And the expression level of tight junction proteins was detected by western blot.
