Functional profiling and visualization of the sphingolipid metabolic network in vivo (mCD8::GFP)

Description

This dataset contains a comprehensive collection of z-stack confocal images from whole-mount adult Drosophila melanogaster brains. The images document the detailed neuroanatomical expression patterns of 52 genes essential for sphingolipid metabolism. The expression of each gene was visualized using the GAL4-UAS binary system. Specific GAL4 reporter lines (C-terminus 3XHA-T2A-GAL4 insertion), which faithfully recapitulate the endogenous expression of the target genes, were used to drive a membrane-tethered Green Fluorescent Protein (UAS-mCD8GFP).
