This dataset contains experimental measurements of rainfall intensity, soil temperature, and soil moisture obtained during controlled laboratory simulations of compound climatic extremes. Experiments were conducted using a climate simulator combining high-intensity rainfall (30-300 mm h⁻¹) and thermal stress up to 45°C to investigate coupled thermo-hydric processes in reference sandy soils. The dataset includes rainfall calibration data, Christiansen uniformity coefficient measurements, soil temperature profiles, and soil moisture evolution recorded during the experiments. These data support the article: “Coupled thermo-hydric soil responses under simulated compound climatic extremes: experimental insights from reference sandy soils”.
