Study-level evidence dataset for advanced oxidation processes in real landfill leachate treatment (2020–2025)

Description

This dataset supports the review article “Advanced oxidation processes for landfill leachate treatment: A critical review of matrix effects, photocatalysis, hybrid treatment trains, and North African case studies.” It contains study-level information extracted from published literature, including matrix type, treatment process, scale, treatment performance, toxicity and transformation-product evidence, energy and cost information where reported, catalyst reuse and stability, evidence strength, and critical interpretation. The dataset also includes the literature-search protocol and a synthesis of major evidence gaps. Direct quantitative treatment evidence was restricted primarily to genuine landfill leachate and clearly defined leachate-derived streams.
