Three full-scale OVF modules were installed and tested in a laboratory building in Turin, Italy, for a two-week period during the cooling season. The modules featured different heights (one at 3.32 m and two at 2.37 m) and varying cavity characteristics: the first two modules had a plain cavity, while the third incorporated a low-emissivity coating on the internal cavity surface. All three modules were naturally ventilated 24 hours a day. The prevailing climatic conditions, as well as the cavity and surface temperatures, were monitored at hourly intervals.
