The online supplementary materials provide additional detail to support transparency and replicability of the study. Supplementary Table 1 contains the full participant profile dataset (expanded descriptive characteristics) to contextualize the range of post-divorce living arrangements and perceived divorce circumstances represented in the sample. Supplementary Table 2 presents an extended IPA coding matrix, linking additional illustrative quotations to subthemes and superordinate themes to demonstrate how interpretations were grounded in participants’ narratives. Supplementary File S1 includes the semi-structured interview guide used to explore divorce-related transitions and adjustment across the life course.
