Description

This dataset contains the underlying data for a repeated-measures study of the cardiorespiratory effects of isotonitazene (ISO) and dexmedetomidine (DEX), administered alone and in combination, in 15 male and female Sprague-Dawley rats. The primary dataset includes a complete 4 × 3 ISO × DEX factorial design with saline control, ISO-alone, DEX-alone, and combination conditions. A separate dataset contains the completed atipamezole (ATI; 0.1 mg/kg) experiment used to evaluate α₂-adrenergic involvement. Data are provided in tidy long format and include oxygen saturation, respiratory rate, heart rate, and pulse distention measured at baseline and in successive 10-min intervals for 90 min after intravenous drug administration. The deposit also includes the omnibus statistical results reported in the manuscript, and a data dictionary.
