ZEB Lab Measured Solar Radiation and PV Power Datasets
Description
The datasets are measured solar radiation and PV power from the zero-emission building laboratory (ZEB Lab) in Trondheim, Norway. The datasets cover three years 2023, 2024 and 2025. The data files are made available in Excel worksheet format for each year. The data records are made on one hour time interval. The solar radiation data cover measurement from pyranometers at the north, west, east and south facades; and the pergola shade at 60 degree tilt and the roof at 30 degree tilt both oriented to the south. The datasets provide useful information on solar radiation resource and PV electric generation on ZEB in a location at high latitude. The datasets are also useful for validation of simulation models related to the performance of building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) in the high latitudes. Further description of the datasets is available in a paper to be published in a Data In Brief journal.
