This dataset was used to conduct the statistical modeling that supports the manuscript: "The nitrogen value of cover crops: How much N can cover crops replace?. The data was compiled from a literature review of peer-reviewed corn-cover crops trials published in the US between 1985 and 2016. In general, individual observations are for average yield comparisons of a corn-cover crop vs corn-no cover crop treatments at different nitrogen N fertilizer at rates. Statistical analyses were conducted based on experimental conditions described in the original publications.
