Collection of building geometry measurements for 2D/3D modeling and anomaly detection using high-precision laser ranging
Description
The presented dataset comprises eight tabulated measurement records corresponding to distinct height levels, acquired for the purpose of reconstructing a detailed cross-sectional model of a university building corridor. For each height level, measurements represent the perpendicular distances from the central longitudinal axis of the corridor to the left and right structural boundaries, thereby enabling precise geometric profiling and the identification of potential structural anomalies. Reference control measurements were obtained using a high-precision laser range finder (HAUPTSON 70/100M, model OZ045), ensuring metrological accuracy. Data acquisition was conducted at regular spatial intervals along the corridor’s longitudinal axis to capture structural variability with high fidelity. The dataset schema includes unique point identifiers, longitudinal coordinates, distances to left and right boundaries, reference measurements, and computed deviations. Owing to its precision and spatial resolution, the dataset is suitable for diverse analytical applications, including two- and three-dimensional corridor modeling, structural integrity assessment, anomaly detection, and the development of indoor navigation and mapping systems.
