Description

This dataset provides data on the geographical representation of 14 083 MPs across 49 countries using list proportional representation (PR) electoral systems worldwide. For most countries, data cover two parliamentary terms, including information on MPs' place of residence and corresponding TLSq index values (a measure of the territorial disproportionality between population and parliamentary representation across subnational units). The dataset was last updated in early 2026.
