Steps to reproduce

The flow depth was monitored by means of the lateral HD camera operating at 30 frames per second, positioned at the mid-length of the flume (x = 0 m), which is located 8.05 m from the water inlet, as shown in Figures 3d and 4b. The current velocities were measured using a Global Water FP111 digital flow velocity meter installed at the same cross section, positioned at the flume bottom (z = 0 m), at the center of the flume (x=0) and half distance between the column and the flume wall (y=0.2 m), as shown in Figures 3e and 4b. The propeller for measuring velocity is located at 0.025m from the bottom. Additionally, in another set of experiments the flow velocity was measured with a Valeport 801 electromagnetic velocity meter placed 0.025 m above the bed, allowing comparison with the FP111 velocity measurements.
