The dataset supports the paper entitled "Enhancing carbon dioxide adsorption in a hybrid fixed bed via structuring and thermal management: a numerical study " by E.A. Cutillo, K. Neupauer, G. Continillo, K. Bizon (doi: 10.24425/cpe.2024.149471) and it contains: - numerical codes developed in Matlab software used to perform simulations (Adsorption_2d.m & systemMatrix.m files) NOTE: Running the code additionally requires the Toolbox ADiGator available at the link: https://dl.acm.org/doi/abs/10.1145/3104990. - results of numerical simulations (in Data folder) based on which figures reported in the article were done, with the specific parts of the file names to be read as follows Diabatico_2L5AC_R_R150%Rr_f_ads1_100 Diabatico_2L5AC_R: Non-adiabatic case, 2 (axial Layers) 5AC_R (A/C Ratio = 5) R150%Rr: the inner radius R1 is 50% of the total radius Rr f_ads1_100: the value of f_ads1 is 100%
