This dataset contains the experimental data supporting the manuscript entitled “Effects and Mechanisms of Combined Electro-Thermal Aging on the Material Properties and Flame Spread Characteristics of Polyethylene-Insulated Wires”. The dataset includes flame spread test results, dripping behavior data, TG-DSC curves, FTIR spectra, crystallinity calculations, activation energy calculations, and normalized aging-effect coefficients for polyethylene-insulated wires subjected to electrical aging, thermal aging, and combined electro-thermal aging.

Steps to reproduce
The dataset can be reproduced by processing the experimental data according to the methods described in the manuscript. First, flame spread parameters, including flame height, flame spread rate, mass loss rate, and dripping mass, should be averaged for each aging condition. Second, TG-DSC data should be used to extract thermal decomposition parameters, melting behavior, and crystallinity. Third, FTIR spectra should be analyzed to identify the formation of oxygen-containing functional groups. Finally, the normalized aging-effect coefficients should be calculated using the equations provided in the manuscript to quantify the non-additive electro-thermal synergistic effect. The processed data can then be used to reproduce the figures and trends reported in the article.
