Description

This dataset contains the review matrix used in the systematic literature review entitled “Shared understanding in the elicitation, specification, and validation of software requirements: a systematic literature review”. The dataset includes records retrieved from ScienceDirect, Scopus, and Web of Science, the filtering and selection process, duplicate control, inclusion and exclusion decisions, and the final set of primary studies selected for analysis. It also includes extracted and classified data used to answer the research questions related to communication problems, tasks and artifacts, critical moments, support mechanisms, and metrics or instruments associated with shared understanding in requirements elicitation, specification, and validation. The dataset is provided to support transparency, traceability, and reproducibility of the systematic literature review.

Steps to reproduce

To reproduce the review process, use the review matrix to follow the search, filtering, selection, and data extraction steps reported in the manuscript. The dataset includes the retrieved records from ScienceDirect, Scopus, and Web of Science, duplicate control, inclusion and exclusion decisions, final primary studies, and extracted data organized according to the research questions. Researchers can inspect the filtering stages, verify the selected studies, and reuse the extraction categories to replicate or extend the systematic literature review.
