Description

This dataset contains the minimal data set for a preliminary exploratory study evaluating the immediate within-session mood changes associated with self-directed SKT1 meditation practice among university students (N = 27). The data was collected using an intensive longitudinal design over a 14-day period (28 planned sessions per participant), yielding a total of 710 nested observations. Key variables include pre- and post-practice negative mood ratings (0–10 Numeric Rating Scale), session-level adherence, and baseline psychological measures (stress, anxiety, and resilience). This data supports the analysis of within-person mood trajectories using Linear Mixed Models (LMM). Keywords: Self-directed intervention; SKT meditation; Stress; University students; Linear mixed models; Intensive longitudinal study.
