Description

This dataset is released with the publication of the article by Malits et al., 2022. It comprises flow cytometry counts for bacterioplankton, picophytoplankton and virioplankton together with environmental parameters and sampling station locations along a transect in Argentine waters from the Beagle Channel to the Burdwood Bank during 5 years. Not all samples in this dataset were included in the analysis by Malits et al., 2022. Reference: Malits A, Ibarbalz FM, Martin J, Flombaum P (2022). Higher biotic than abiotic natural variability of the plankton ecosystem revealed by a time series along a subantarctic transect. Journal of Marine Systems, in press.
