Description

This dataset is an electronic supplementary material to the publication entitled "Assessment of eutrophication potential from fertiliser application in agricultural systems in Thailand". This study assessed the eutrophication potential from fertiliser application in major crop production systems, viz., maize, cassava, sugarcane, rice, and oil palm in Thailand by applying the life cycle assessment framework. Subsequently, seventeen impact reduction scenarios were formulated and analysed to identify the most effective pathway to mitigate the eutrophication impact. The supplementary consists of activity data, calculations, and scenario analysis. The inventory data were obtained from secondary sources including peer-reviewed journals, reports, and websites. The outcomes of this research will be useful for policymakers and researchers to formulate regulations and initiate/implement impact mitigation plans to support sustainable agriculture.
