We designed a comparative study with repeated measures and within-subject analysis. The independent variable was participation in the Bioneuroemotion training program, and the dependent variables were psychological inflexibility, measured through experiential avoidance and cognitive fusion, and emotional wellbeing, measured through perceived stress, psychological distress, mental health components of quality of life, and life satisfaction. The training was conducted online, with participants from various Spanish-speaking countries who agreed to take part in one of the four training editions held between November 2021 and August 2022. We implemented a repeated-measures design across four time points (Pre, Midpoint, Post, and Follow-Up) to assess not only the immediate effects of BNE training but also evaluate whether the training's impact on psychological inflexibility and emotional well-being was sustained over time. We invited the individuals enrolled in the BNE training to participate in the study. Of those, 1,197 completed the initial assessment (Pre). The inclusion criteria were being an active student over 21 years old, having Spanish as their primary language, and having access to the internet and a computer or tablet device. Exclusion criteria included being under 21 years of age, not speaking Spanish, not having internet access, or failing to complete both the pre- and post-questionnaires. Of the participants who completed the Pre-assessment, 471 (39%) also completed the mid-point evaluation, 549 (46%) completed the Post-assessment, and 262 (21%) responded to the follow-up evaluation.
