And we adopted the hierarchical analysis method to systematically sort out the collected cultural materials. These materials are divided into three levels: main category, subcategory and sub-subcategory. Then, according to strict expert selection criteria, we selected experts with deep professional knowledge and rich practical experience in the culture of the hometown of overseas Chinese in Guangzhou, and ensured the diversity of expert backgrounds, including representatives from different fields such as academia, industry and government departments, to ensure the comprehensiveness of opinions. After experts conducted multiple feedback surveys on the cultural genes of the hometown of overseas Chinese in Guangzhou, they sorted and analyzed the data results, and found the expert opinions with the highest degree of convergence to form the prediction results of the importance of the cultural genes of the hometown of overseas Chinese in Cantonese. Finally, the AHP hierarchical analysis method was used to further verify the consistency test results of the data, ensure the accuracy, effectiveness and authenticity of the indicator factors of the cultural gene bank of the hometown of overseas Chinese in Cantonese, and finally determine the weights of each cultural gene and comprehensively rank them. It is helpful to determine the variation range of cultural gene elements and can effectively simulate the decision results under different values of indicator elements for cultural genes.
