The experimental design involved subjecting the aphids to heatwaves with a temperature of 35°C for 3 hours per day, in combination with an imidacloprid concentration of 20µ g/mL. These treatments were applied across the maternal (F0) generation and the offspring (F1) generations to observe the long - term impacts.
