This work is the supplementary data of a publication from the Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Management (iwb), Technical University of Munich. It includes data on measured temperatures, distortion and hardness for four specimens, which were fabricated with friction stir additive manufacturig. Three specimens were subjected to different cooling strategies (cooling plate, water spray, and water bath) and one specimen was cooled naturally.
