Modeled Inventory of Wastewater Treatment Facilities, Flow, Solids, and Nutrients for National Scale Waste-to-Energy Modeling

An inventory of 17,111 WRRF locations, design flows, influent solids and nutrients, untreated wastewater solids, and effluent nutrients is developed by synthesizing data from the 2022 CWNS (USEPA, 2024) and Seiple et al. (2020), with additional manual verification of facility locations and status for all EPA “Majors” (i.e., >= 1.0 Mgal/d design flow capacity).
