Description

Effect of acute binge drinking on the adolescent mandible (IHC). This data relates to the effect of acute binge drinking on the adolescent mandible in female Sprague Dawley (SD) rats specifically looking at immunohistochemistry. Cell proliferation was not affected in this group (this was determined by immunolabelling with the Ki-67 antibody). The number of osteoblasts was affected (this was determined by immunolabelling with ALP). Acute binge drinking in a female SD rat model with only 7 days of exposure causes some cellular disruptions.
